AC Milan want Radja Nainggolan of Roma
AC Milan have turned their attention on Roma’s midfielder Radja Nainggolan. A dream move but a possible one.
MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – Yesterday Sky Sport released a sensational news. AC Milan want to sign Rome’s ace Radja Nainggolan. The midfielder would be a dream signing at San Siro. The negotiation appears to be very serious and the chances to sign the 29 year old are considered to be high.
The rossoneri are just the last team to join the race for Radja’s services. For a couple of seasons Nainggolan has been continuously one of the best midfielders in Serie A. The Belgian is a star player for Roma and Chelsea for a long time have asked for his services. The central midfielder is a very versatile player and can play in a number of positions. Nainggolan can also play as an attacking midfielder, a position that in the current team only Jack Bonaventura can occupy. In last year’s summer transfer window Antonio Conte insisted Chelsea sign him but Nainggolan refused in order to play in Champions with Roma. Now the situation has changed. Coach Luciano Spalleti, one of the main reasons Nainggolan decided to stay, is about to leave Roma at the end of the season. The contract renewal talks with Roma have stalled for some time now and an agreement doesn’t seem easy to be found.
According to Peppe Di Stefano, Milan’s management have initiated first contacts with the player’s agent. Roma wants 40 million euros for Radja. A hefty sum but one that Milan’s new Chinese owners will be more than glad to pay in order to put at Montella’s disposal one of the best players of Serie A. The only obstacle seem to be the lack of Champions League football at San Siro. Milan finished Serie A in 6-th place, a position the secured the rossoneri only Europa League football for next season. Nainggolan can be tempted by the fact that Milan is building a team capable to fight for the Scudetto. After Musacchio’s signing AC Milan’s transfer moves have just began.
